Hallmark University Co-sponsors the Largest Ever NEISD CareerExpo

On April 25, 2017, students, employers, colleges, and universities gathered at Blossom Athletic Center in San Antonio, Texas, for the 19th annual North East Independent School District (NEISD) CareerExpo. The Expo aimed to help middle and high school students make informed decisions regarding the educational and career opportunities awaiting them before and after high school graduation. Hallmark University and Pfluger co-sponsored the vendor hospitality suite which served 110 vendors and NEISD employees. This year’s event was noted as being the most attended NEISD CareerExpo since its inception.

The North East ISD Career and Technical Advisory Council, which hosted the event, states on their website that, “The purpose of CareerExpo is to inform students of training, education programs and career opportunities in many different fields. This event may be the first step students have in choosing their career pathway.” At this year’s Expo, over 90 businesses and educational institutions were represented.

Representing Hallmark, a nonprofit University located in San Antonio, Texas, were Donald “Jay” Gregson (Sr. VP of University Operations and Chair of the NEISD CTE Council) and Carlos Rivera (Admissions Professional). Gregson and Rivera provided materials and information about Hallmark to students looking to pursue results-oriented higher education.
