Important Topics
Absences

Absences will be monitored. It is the student’s responsibility to contact their instructor, Student Success Coordinator or an Academic Administrator when the student is absent, tardy, or anticipating an absence. A conference with the Campus President may be required due to continued absences. It may be necessary for a student to repeat a course due to absences.

Parking

It is the sole responsibility of each student to register and display their parking permits and to park only in the designated student parking areas.

Student ID’s

ID’s must be visible at all times while you are anywhere on the Hallmark University property. Please remember badges and lanyards need to be visible above the waist area.

Career Services

Career Services supports the professional development of each student through various workshops, small group sessions and one-on-one advising appointments designed to ensure the development of strong resume writing skills, as well as interviewing and networking competencies needed to aid in the transition from active student to highly qualified professional.

Mandatory workshop and topics introduced include:

  • Resume Building Workshop
  • Networking and interview skills
  • Classroom to Career Exit Workshop

These workshops are scheduled throughout the enrollment but are available during specific times within specific programs. All students, regardless of career path, must attend these workshops and complete detailed exit procedures prior to qualifying for graduation.

Employment

Daily, our Career Services team diligently works with industry leaders to assist the student in securing employment after they graduate.

Students receive job search assistance, resume writing services and other support services to prepare them for their career. Students and alumni are eligible for assistance from the moment they step on to campus and will remain eligible for continued assistance after graduation.

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors represent the school as volunteers at various functions and events, demonstrating a willingness to serve their community by being true ambassadors of Hallmark.

President's Council

President’s Council is a select group of students that have been selected and approved by faculty to represent their classmates to present questions and address concerns directly to the President of the university in meetings held every term. The feedback of the President’s Council helps to improve Hallmark based on what each cohort needs in order to succeed at Hallmark University.

Student Veterans Organization

The Student Veterans Organization is a support organization for those that have served in our nation’s military. Within this organization, they can find friendships and camaraderie, support, resources, and advocacy if needed in order to make sure that they succeed during their time as a Hallmark student.
