ACCELERATED, HANDS-ON AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS

Hallmark University’s College of Aeronautics is focused on training students to earn their FAA Airframe and Powerplant License. The accelerated degree program is designed to allow students to get their degree, earn their A&P License, and get to work in under 2 years. Our aircraft mechanic school is designed for those looking for hands-on training on real aviation equipment in a technical environment. The class sizes are small, and courses are delivered in manageable 8-week terms. Our campus is located at the San Antonio International Airport, where aeronautics mechanic students work in real hangars on real jet engines as they progress towards their Airframe and Powerplant License.

The technical skills you learn during your training include welding, assembly, rigging, production drawings, electrical and instrument systems, and more. While these skills lead directly to aircraft mechanic jobs, they can also be applied in similar trade industry jobs. If you love to wrench on projects and solve problems involving hands-on technical skills, then you can excel in our A&P License program.

“The curriculum that I experienced was very recognizable when I got out into the industry, having dealt with stuff hands-on in the classroom as opposed to maybe on a computer screen or in a book.”
