Program Outline

Our Vocational Nursing program is meticulously designed to equip students with the requisite knowledge and skills needed for entry-level licensed vocational nurse positions across a wide spectrum of healthcare settings, including medical offices, clinics, health maintenance organizations (HMOs), acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, and various healthcare environments.

As part of this program, vocational nursing students cultivate a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in delivering direct patient care while working under the guidance of physicians, dentists, or registered nurses (RNs) within diverse healthcare settings. These settings encompass hospitals, extended convalescent care facilities, and home health agencies. Vocational nursing students receive comprehensive training in direct patient care, assessment techniques, diagnostic measurements, procedural expertise, and treatment methodologies.
