Eastside Cyberforce Prime Program

The Eastside Cyberforce Prime is a free entry-level training program for the field of cybersecurity and information technology. No prior experience is needed and successful graduates of the program will be considered for employment by partner employers such as IP Secure and TriStar. Graduates will also be accepted directly into the Bachelor of Science Cybersecurity program at Hallmark University.

The Cyberforce Prime program will be held at the Ella Austin Community Center at 1023 N Pine St., San Antonio, TX 78202. Actual class times will be determined based on the student cohort need, and program capacity is 16 students. Applicants who successfully complete the introductory IT Fundamentals certification course will be admitted into the Cyberforce Prime program, which is an 8-week boot camp style course designed to achieve Security+ certification. The introductory IT Fundamentals course will be available after successfully completing all application requirements and can be completed at Hallmark’s facility at Ella Austin Community Center (with a facilitator) or on the applicant’s computer with internet access.

Upon successful completion of the Cyberforce Prime program, besides the opportunity to earn an in-demand IT certification, graduates will be accepted directly into the Bachelor of Science Cybersecurity degree program at Hallmark University and receive job interviews from IT employer partners such as IP Secure and TriStar. Any earned certifications during the program will result in applicable course credit being applied upon enrollment into an associate or bachelor IT degree at Hallmark University.

Admissions Process and Requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of introductory IT Fundamentals course/certification
  • No felony within last 10 years

Acceptance Considerations

Individuals who complete the application requirements above will be admitted into the Cyberforce Prime program, up to the first 16 students.

This program is open to students of all ages with a focus on individuals between the ages of 18 and 30.

Outcomes
